Brother of Ashton Sims (81 games for the Dragons from 2003 to 2007) and Korbin Sims (21 games in 2019–20). Gerringong junior who joined Saints from Newcastle during the 2016 season and established himself as one of the most damaging second rowers in the game in 2018. Played every game in 2018, except for round 17 against Melbourne, when he was unavailable after being named in the NSW side for the deciding match of that year’s Origin series. Also played in Origin Game 2 in 2019. Scored 10 tries in 2018, equal second best for the Dragons behind fullback Matt Dufty (13 tries) and level with outside backs Nene Macdonald and Euan Aitken.
