Hurstville United junior who debuted for Saints as a 17-year-old in 1995 and played in the Grand Final against Manly a year later. Remains the youngest footballer to wear the Red V in a first-grade game. One of three players — alongside Anthony Mundine and Nathan Brown — to play in both the 1996 and 1999 Grand Finals. Captained City Origin in 2001, the first of five appearances for City from 2001 to 2007. Played 69 games for St George and 132 for St George Illawarra, making him one of 14 men to play for 200 or more games for St George/St George Illawarra.
