A dynamic five-eighth, halfback and goal kicker who built an imposing record in six years at the Dragons. Came to Saints from Easts in June 2007 and didn’t miss a game for the rest of the season. Thrived during Wayne Bennett’s three years as coach, representing Country Origin in 2009 and 2011, winning a Grand Final in 2010 and World Club Challenge in 2011, and playing for NSW in the 2011 Origin series. Was the Dally M five-eighth of the year in 2009, when he also won the Provan Summons Medal as the fans’ most popular player. Was the club’s leading pointscorer in every year he wore the Red V. His 234 points in 2009 (12 tries, 90 goals, 6 field goals) broke Harry Bath’s Dragons’ record for most points in a season
