Kiwi international prop forward who was a member of the 1999 St George Illawarra Grand Final side and co-captain of the Dragons in 2000–01. Was a key figure in the club’s road to the ’99 Grand Final. Saints’ record that season in the 17 games in which he played was 12 wins and five losses (including winning streaks of seven and five matches). In the 11 games he missed, it was six wins and five losses. Tutored two future Test props in Jason Ryles and Luke Bailey in his final season with the club. Played 49 games for Illawarra from 1996 to 1998, after joining the Steelers from Souths
